The dan￿rS put a numt* Df displays onboard visiting cruse ships to entetsin the passengers as
well as performing at various galas and fundays throughDUt the idand ower the summer months. They
atso spenc the wee( of the Metriaean Ldtlc Festival dancing on tle strttts, doing lovety perfoman￿$
for all Ihe tourists, visitors ard locab.
Some of our dancers travelled to thè mainland and neig￿0￿rI￿ Idands for eompthons. This induded
chi￿r￿ of all ages and abiliti￿ going to vèrious competitions and (ham￿on￿1pS and 5 dancers
compded at the World Highland Dancng Championship5 in Dunmn.
Three of our ￿￿￿[5 svere 5dettEd to reprt5ent the Western Isles Team at the Scottish Area Flnals
Obzn, which was a great achievement and girls enjoyed the experientr.
A Family Ceilidh was hdd where d3￿rS were presented wth their eKam certificate5 and medals, at)J
put on a lovely display of danong for their tsmilies. A successful ftjndraising Bingo rlght was held for
the dance sthool, J)d a display at a IDJI charity event hdd by the local Vo(millan Can￿r Grou
Our annual Christrnas party took ￿ale where the dancers agaln took in (bnations for locèl fctKI
bank and an incredible amount was handed over. The stsrt gf 2024 fvas akn successful with ) family
