**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;,&#x27;the advancement of citizenship or community development&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;,&#x27;the advancement of environmental protection or improvement&#x27;

**What the charity does:** The Trust supports and develops outdoor activities, manages and develops a garden for community use, supports volunteering opportunities and projects, raises funds and implements environmental improvements around  the Country Park and works in partnership with a wide array of stakeholders including the local council, Scottish Water, and the local landowners. Our primary aim is to involve the users of the park and the wider community with the ongoing development of the park, encourage its usage for the benefit and the welfare of all and to enable the Park to better realise its full potential. The Trust works strategically to further develop the park and the opportunities and facilities  provided within the Park and sits on a multi agency steering group to advance an agreed and published  master plan for this purpose.

**Objectives:** The organisation&#x27;s purposes are:- a) the advancement of environmental protection or improvement. b) the advancement of education and outdoor learning in the local environment. c) the advancement of citizenship or community development. d) the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
