**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;,&#x27;the advancement of health&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;,&#x27;the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage&#x27;

**What the charity does:** Neuro Hebrides was set up to support individuals and carers living with a neurological condition in the Western Isles. This is achieved through representation on local bodies eg Managed Clinical Network, Patient Panel. collaboration with other neurological charities on campaigns. providing regular group meetings for social and information purposes. access to counselling and therapies such as massage for members, free of charge, and &#x27;on tour&#x27; events where an accessible minibus will take members to various locations or activities outwith the main town of Stornoway. We raise funds locally and apply for relevant grants from a range of organisations.

**Objectives:** Neuro Hebrides purposes are: a. The advancement of health of those suffering from neurological conditions. b. The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability or other disadvantage by virtue of a neurological condition. c. The advancement of education, specifically the understanding of neurological conditions. d. The organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for those suffering from or affected by neurological conditions.
