**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of public participation in sport&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;

**What the charity does:** We are set up to provide volunteering opportunities in a structured way for young and older people reflective of our area in Greater Pollok and Glasgow South in the provision of facilitating structured free and/or low cost sporting opportunities including community events alongside weekly clubs and youth activities.

**Objectives:** 4 The organisation&#x27;s purposes are:  4.1 The advancement of public participation in sport 4.2 In furtherance of the aforementioned charitable purpose, SAPC will promote the benefits of sport in terms of improved health and wellbeing and raise awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, with the intention of reducing instances of inactivity, obesity, alcohol, drug and solvent abuse. we will also promote social integration through sport and personal development opportunities, promoting a culture of unity.  4.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.4 In furtherance of the aforementioned charitable purposes SAPC will increase accessibility to education, information, guidance and provide a safe, professionally supervised environment with supported access to peers via the provision of organised sport and creative activities, with the intention of reducing territorialism through organised mixed activities with young people from neighbouring areas. Activities are used as a diversionary tool to reduce nuisance crime, isolation and negative behaviour.
