||The Perth Bridge Club has the following charitable purposes:<br>• To provide recreational facilities and to organise recreational activities for<br>the public at large which relate to the promotion, learning, teaching and<br>playing of Bridge, in the interests of social welfare with the aim of<br>improving the conditions of life and mental health for the persons using the<br>facilities or participating in the activities.<br>•We also aim to educate players of all standards in the game of Bridge.<br>and to assist in their development and understanding of the game.<br>**Mission**: To provide opportunities for players at all levels from novice to<br>expert to enjoy the competitive game of Bridge and develop their skills<br>through learning and participation at a well-equipped facility which offers a<br>sociable, friendly and welcoming environment.<br>**Vision**: to be the club of choice for all Bridge players in Perth and the<br>surrounding district.|||
||We had 12 students who started our Bridge lessons winter course.<br>During the winter months we had Bridge Clubs renting our premises for<br>their weekly sessions.<br>Our Fire safety improvements were completed at a cost of over £14,000.<br>We ran our second annual Perth Café Bridge day with increased numbers|||

||The club accounts show a deficit of £8,830 for the year.  This was due to<br>the cost of the Fire safety improvement program which the club committed<br>to in 2023.<br>If this one off cost and the grants received towards it are removed then the<br>accounts would show a surplus of £2,932|
||Members continue to volunteer for many tasks to keep the Charity<br>running.  This covers all areas from teaching students, preparing hands for<br>play and scoring at Club events.|
