**What the charity does:** We want girls across Scotland to have the space and opportunities they need to grow in confidence.  Girlguiding is so much more than an after-school activity or a way for girls to spend an evening.  We give girls their own space as we want  all girls to benefit from the opportunities to grow that come with being a part of Girlguiding. Members love being in an all-girl group because it gives them space to be themselves, try new things and share what it's like growing up as a girl in today's world.  At their weekly meetings they choose what they want to do with their friends. Girls love earning badges which show that they've thrown themselves into a new sport, explored an issue or learned a new skill. We give girls a voice by providing even more opportunities for girls and young women to make a difference, speak out and do things which will boost their CV. We empower girls to become leaders themselves and make their voices heard on the issues that affect them.'
