Community InfoSource supports people seeking asylum, refugees and migrant communities in Scotland to access their rights, feel safe and connected, and participate fully in society. We provide practical information, advice, advocacy and support on issues such as housing, health, education, wellbeing, digital access and community integration. We do this through outreach, drop-ins, casework, befriending, ESOL and learning activities, wellbeing groups, volunteering opportunities, and community-led projects. We also work to challenge discrimination, violence against women and girls, and barriers faced by people with lived experience of migration and the asylum system. Our work is delivered by staff, volunteers and community members, many with lived experience, in partnership with statutory and third sector organisations.
