FUTURE PLANS

Plans for future periods:

To develop a Community Hub that can offer a focus for sporting excellence for the current local sports clubs; establish an Outdoor Hub to exploit the Hub’s close proximity to the Ochil Hills and River Devon; and as a Tourist Hub, to act as the Wee County’s focal point for tourism. While we accept that the project falls within the devolved matters of tourism, sport and heritage, it is felt that given proper investment the Hub would offer a significant contribution to the internationalisation of the County, through making the Hub a tourist destination in its own right, this would help economically transform the Hillfoots villages in particular, but also be of wider benefit to the whole County.
