**What the charity does:** The Trust manages 16 rooms spread over two buildings and our main activity is the letting of the various rooms to Core tenants, regular user Groups and other ad hoc organisations who require space for meetings/training etc. Our income is generated from  basically five sources i.e. Donations, Grant funding, Hire of rooms on an hourly basis or by our Levy scheme whereby the attendees pay upon attendance plus Catering. The only direct activity managed and operated by the Trust is our weekly Warm Spaces lunch which runs from early August to end of April.

**Beneficiaries:** 'Children or young people','Older People','People with disabilities or health problems','No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

**Objectives:** The SCIO has been formed to benefit the community of Castle Douglas as defined by the areas of Castle Douglas Community Council (?the Community?) with the following objects:  The advancement of community development or citizenship, including the advancement of rural regeneration and provision of community facilities.
