**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;,&#x27;the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended&#x27;,&#x27;the promotion of equality and diversity&#x27;,&#x27;the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage&#x27;

**What the charity does:** BANG was established to address the unique challenges faced by families of children &amp; young people with Additional Support Needs &amp; neurodivergence. Recognising the gaps in tailored support &amp; the importance of community connections, we aim to empower these families through a Whole Family Approach that is nurturing, inclusive &amp; person-centred. Our vision, “Empowering families &amp; young people to influence society &amp; transform lives” reflects our commitment to ensuing a supportive environment where every family member feels valued &amp; heard. Through services such as weekly peer parent support, thematic workshops, Transition &amp; Employability projects &amp; dedicated youth programmes funded by the National Lottery (ages 11-24), we strive to encourage young people to reach their full potential &amp; families to thrive. Our mission is to transform lives by addressing individual needs, promoting inclusion &amp; empowering families &amp; young people to become advocates for positive change in their communities.

**Objectives:** The organisation&#x27;s purposes are: 4.1 . To promote the education, training and development of children with additional needs to help them in advancing their capabilities, skills and understanding allowing them to live up to their potential. 4.2 To promote training opportunities for caregivers of children with additional needs to assist them in leading such children to develop their capabilities, skills and understanding and live up to their potential. 4.3 To promote the provision of facilities and activities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of children with additional needs and their families. 4.4 To promote equality and diversity by acting as advocates for children with additional needs and their caregivers.
