Since 2020 and the restrictions surrounding the Covid pandemic, the focus of the charity was shifted to helping vulnerable people within the local community. With nominations from local optometry practices, successful candidates are selected for funded cataract treatment who would otherwise be increasingly struggling with their day to day activities whilst waiting on NHS treatment.
