Aims and Affiliation The aims of the Church are summed up in the Purpose Statement. To advance religion by bringing people to Jesus and membership in his family. develop them to Christlike maturiry, and eqL4iP them for rheir ministry in t church and life mission in the world. in order to ma9nifY God's name. The Church is in membership with the Baptist Union of Scotland. Trustees and Office Bearers The church constitution outlines the ways in which the church reaches decisions. The day-to-day running is the responsibility of the church leadership. The Church Leadership. who served during the year and to the date of this report, are as follows. The trustees have a duty, in exercising functions as charity trustees. to act in the Interests of the church. and, in particular. must seek, in good faith. to ensure that the church acts in a manner which is in accordancewith its purposes and act with the care and diligence which it is reasonable to expect of a person who is managing the affairs of another person. The numb church members remained the same as, and the number attending was like previou5 year. The church ministers continued to work hard to ensure that the church mem regularly feel involved as a part of The Life Church in Irvine and carried out var activities in pursuit of our stated aims. ous Significant highlights, events, and developments of note in year include following.. the In relation to activlties: Regular Sunday morning church ser4ices. Attendance continued t around the same as the previous year. A kid's service for primary school aged children (Little Life Church) maintained. Continued to provide regular in-person and online content for wor prayer, and reflection, including a midweek meeting and a weekly pr group. Introduced a weekly wellbeing group (Thrive) for people to meet to eat and engage in activities. Introd uced a fortnightly group for 12-18-year-olds (Lifeyouth) to community and 10 learn more about the Christan faith. Supported members of the church and wider community, provi ing pastoral care to those in need, includlng those who have needed support through illness, bereavement, and those who have been experien ng difficult personal circumstances. hip. yer at, uild In relation to funding.
