Summary of the main achievements of As well as gathering the required information for renewal of our the charity during the financial period CRtB registrations. the FSVCCA has been involved in reviewing and responding to a number of local planning applications. It has also, significantly, followed up on an endeavour, commenced in 2023. to seek Stage 1 funding from the Scottish Land Fund to inib.ate plans to survey the former Corunna Bowling Green and prepare a business case ultimately to purchase it for community use. should the owners agree to sell it. Our application for Stage 1 funding was successfijl and this allowed the FSVCCA to obtain quotes for a suNey and valuation of the former Ccffunna Bowling Club. This resulted in a survey being undertaken the details of which were shared at the Annual General Meeting on 3 February 2025. The funding also allowed the FSVCCA to consider bids from those interested in helng the FSVCCA to fomiulate a business case with which to move forward. In additson. Ihe FSVCCA made a contribution to the consultation organised by Glasgow City Council on City Development Plan 2. The current City Devebpment Plan was adopted in 2017. It is due to be updated. and consultstion on detsil and content was extended to individuals and interested groups. | The FSVCCA highlighted issues pertinent to protection and enhancement of histoncal assets and architecttjral integrity plus protection of documented greenlopen spaces, and community cohesiveness.
