**What the charity does:** The charity promotes human rights, in the context of creating awareness and understanding, and tackling poverty which is behind exponential increase in economic migration from Sub-Saharan African through illegal routes to Europe and United Kingdom.  We intend to sensitize young people and vulnerable individuals who are at risk of this illicit trade by educating them on the dangers of illegal migration. We intend to provide support services to alleviate poverty etc.

**Objectives:** Purposes 4	The organisation’s purposes are set hereunder: 5	To ameliorate hardship among African migrants and immigrants in the UK, through promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion. 5.1	To promote and advance the rights of widows in Africa (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) with a view to campaign against violence, discrimination, inhuman, degrading and atrocious widowhood practices being meted out on indigent women and their dependants after the death of their husbands. and to assist and support individuals or families of victims of widowhood practices residing in Scotland or elsewhere in the United Kingdom by all or any of the following means: Organising sensitization programmes to draw attention to widowhood practices  Raising awareness on the existence of domestic and international laws protecting the rights of women  Providing legal aid and advice to poor widows, their dependants and young people in other to obtain redress, and punishment for offenders  Build synergy with sister organisation(s) and public institutions to empower widows through skill acquisition training, financial grants and access to adequate healthcare, decent work, full participation in decision-making and public life for a chance to build a secure life after bereavement   5.2	To prevent poverty and provide succour to the impoverished children of widows and young people who in most cases are the sufferers and end-losers of cruel widowhood practices (in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child) by all or any of the following means: Supporting and promoting sports activities to deepen societal and communal relations, especially among the victims of this ugly practice into communities that hitherto abhorred and rejected them Providing legal advice, and where necessary pursue enforcements of their rights with regards to the laws relating to inheritance and succession  Assisting with financial grants, donations, and award of scholarship  Providing infrastructures for education to achieve quality learning and productive outcomes, and where necessary partner with other organisation(s) and spirited individual(s) to provide training which will enable individuals to generate sustainable income and be self-sufficient  Raise awareness on the potential dangers of economic migration and the activities of people-smugglers, who lure young people, women and children into perilous journey on the Mediterranean Sea to Europe and America with their lives at stake  Supporting research undertakings into factors that contribute to poverty and the most appropriate ways to mitigate these  Organizing youth mentorship programmes for victims of anti-social practice, on the avalanche of opportunities available to them through skills and vocational training   Collaborate with governments at different level to draw attention to the importance of sustainable development—through promotion, preservation, conservation and protection of the environment as a veritable tool in improving the life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities
