The charity was set up to ensure the best use is made of the gift aid received from the local community led Achadaduie Windfarm (Fyne Energy Ltd) with the overall aim is to build a lasting legacy. We are currently implementing a programme of projects with professional bodies to improve the energy efficiency in village homes. We have purchased and will manage a recreational space and small woodland adjacent to Glenbarr's historical Doocot, which is proposed for maintenance and conservation. Within our 5 year plan is the aim to purchase a further area where a new community hub will be built. There are regular social gatherings to bring villagers together and the excitement of future plans and projects to look forward to. Where possible we plan to use local businesses/contractors to complete works to share funds within our area. Additionally villagers will be working on projects on a voluntary basis. We have taken on a dedicated executive team to help us drive forward the 5 year plan
