The charity was set up to organise recreational cricket in the North East of Scotland & to promote & develop the game in that area. We arrange and administer league, cup & other cricket competitions/events by liaising with member clubs & booking access to grounds with venue providers. We identify and develop additional suitable playing & training facilities. We support the development of new & existing clubs that promote cricket locally. We support the recruitment & development of players, coaches, match officials & other volunteers. We facilitate umpiring, scoring & coaching courses to encourage both newcomers & existing players to improve & share their knowledge. We promote the development of junior cricket, women's cricket & cricket for those with disabilities in alliance with national bodies. We aim to continue this work in what we consider to be the most inclusive of sports.
Objectives: 4.1. The advancement of public participation in cricket within the North East of Scotland. 4.2. The organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to recreational facilities or activities which are available to members of the public at large.
