The purpose of the charity is to manage and maintain Stuartfield Village Hall as a community asset, hosting meetings, clubs, leisure activities, fundraising events and other activities. Educational: Mother & Toddlers, Nursery, Rising 5's, Primary School plays, musical groups, Brownies, Guides and Flower show. Leisure/Health: Regularly used by a number of different groups and individuals for sessions and fundraising events such as fitness classes, remote control car meets, soup & sweet, fayre, quiz and bingo nights to name a few. Formal/General: AGM’s, meetings, community consultations and polling station for elections.

Objectives: The subjects comprising the building known as the Stuartfield Public Hall (hereinafter referred to as Stuartfield Public Hall) are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Stuartfield and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, (educational, recreational lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation) and leisure time activities and any other activities which enhance the conditions of life for the said inhabitants
