Achièvèments and performanee The inside and outside fenovations at the Heritage Centre are now completed. The committee would like to thank NILPS and OIC for their help and funding in thi5 venture. Also a thank you to Eday Partnership for funding a member of the community to help wilh the inslallalion. Financial review Incoming resources in the period lolalled £49,135 whilst resources expended amounted lo £26,244. Al the balance sheet date the association ieports net funds of £314.776 of which £281,365 is represented by the Eday Heritage Centre building and other fixtures, fittings and equipment. It is the policy of the charity that unreslricled funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained al a level equivalent to between three and six month'5 expenditure. The Iruslees consider that reseNes al this level will ensure Ihal, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able lo continue Ihe charity s current activities while consider81ion is given lo ways in which additional funds may be raised. This level of reserves has been mainlained throughout the year. Thus the Iruslees continue lo adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial slalemenls. 1.3 Charitable funds Unrestricted funds are available for use al the discretion of the trustees in furtheran¢e of their tharitable objectives. Designated funds comprise funds which have been sel aside al the discretion of the Iruslee5 for specific purposes. The purposes and uses of the designated funds are set out in the notes lo the financial slalemenls. Reslricled funds are subject lo specific condition5 by donors or grantors as lo how they may be uied. Financial inslrumenls are recognised in the charity's balance sheet when the charity becomes party to the conlraclual provisions of the instrument. Financial assets and liabilities are offset. with the net amounts presented in the finanual statements, when there is a legally enforceable fight lo sel off the recognised amounts and there is an intention to settle on a nel basis or to realise the asset and settle the liability simultaneously.

Critical accounting estimates and judgements In the application of the charity s accounting policies, the Iruslees are required to make judgements, estimates and assumptions about the carrying amount of assets and liabilities that are not readily apparent from other sources. The eslimales and associated assumptions are based on historical experience and other factors that are considered to be relevant. Actual results may differ from these estimates. The estimates and undedying assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
