FUTURE PLANS –
Upcoming Events in 2025-2026
-
“For Art Sake” Project, Rotating Art/Photography Exhibition; JOM Heritage Centre, Milngavie, Glasgow; December 2025 to May 2026; funded by National Lottery Community Funds
-
“Motivate & Grow, Art Meets Sports” Project, activities will continue in 2026; proposed for Cardowan, Glasgow, in January, Springburn, Glasgow, in February and Easterhouse, Glasgow, in March; funded by The Robertson Trust
-
We will support further Youth Sports & Wellbeing activities in 2026, funding permitting.
-
We were able to raise some funds through our raffle at our last “For Art Sake”, Cup of Kindness event and we plan to use these for a similar activity around March - April 2026, and thereafter quarterly if we can raise further funds through raffles or separate funding.
Our continued social media presence and ability to facilitate more activities will be very difficult without additional funding to cover our expenses, including our Administration Support contract personnel. We are also noticing fewer persons volunteering without requesting for cash stipend. As of beginning 2026, JOM Charity will need additional support from funders to be able to continue activities beyond the second quarter of 2026.
Unfortunately, obtaining regular funding is proving very difficult. We are proactive in applying for much needed funding but we meet with limited success. We are still waiting to hear back from some of our recent applications, including Creative Scotland.
JOM Charity would like to express its gratitude to all its supporters and funders for their continued support.
