Glasgows Last Tram Group is set up to restore and maintain the 1939 Glasgow Coronation Tram No1245
Objectives: The objectives of the Group shall be to advance the education of the public in relation to the restoration and history of Glasgow Coronation Class trams in particular tram 1245. The Group will promote:- a) To educate and provide experience in the restoration and maintenance of Glasgow Coronation Class trams to all visitors and associations visiting Summerlee Museum: b) To provide voluntary labour to assist in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Glasgow Coronation Class tram and associated equipment c) To, preserve and restore Glasgow Coronation Class tram equipment, and associated artefacts for eventual public operation, study and education in Glasgow Coronation Class matters.
