The structure of the organisalion consists of a Board, who have the power to appoint trustees. make changes to the constitution, and monrtor the financial posrtion of the organisation. Trustee recruitment and appointment The board may at any time appoint any person to be a charity trustee- by way of a resolution passed by majority vote at a board meeting. Prior to each board meeting. each of the board members wll have the chance to raise any concerns they may have about another board member. Objectives and activities Charitable purposes The organisation's purpose is to improve the lives of people facing hardships by providing financkgl andlor emotional support or suppc services. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects Due to the recent pandemic and lockdown, the charity has not had much activity over this financial year. This is due lo the fact that, as we are a small organisation with limited funding, we did not feel we have the resources in place to assure the safety of both our volunteers and our recipients. Since lockdown began easing this year we have been reorganising and planning how lo rebuild our funds and seNices. We are currently planning our first fundraiser post-lockdown and have some new projects lined up for once these funds have been secured.
APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of During the first haK of this financial period, the charity was still waiting on the charity during the financial period the easing of lockdown restrictions to restart our activib'es. Once lockdown eased we began reorganising and planning. This was a difficult task and achievement in itself wth our limrted funds and resources. We have started planning multiple projects and services lo be launched once we have secured the appropriate funding. We are also in the planning stages of our first post-lockdown fundraiser, which would give us the base funds to re-launch our services. Financial review Brief statement of the eharity's policy on resetves The charity currently dces not hold any reserves due to our low funds. However. we aim to be getting higher funding in the future and the trustees will collectively detemiine the appropriate level of reserves, which will be detailed in a reserves policy, in due course.
