## **Objectives and activities**

Our charity was set up to encourage public participations in the amateur sport of gymnastics, trampolining and DMT by young persons of all abilities, particularly in the Grampian region. By providing gymnastics facilities, activities and training to improve the fitness, health and well-being of the persons for whom the activities are intended. We currently hold classes 6 days a week for different levels and abilities in two local town’s to provide activities to as much local children as possible, our aim would be to provide more classes when possible. We also hold Easter and Summer camps throughout the holidays for children to continue to develop their skills and have some fun, we would like to continue to provide this in the coming years. We also hold a yearly invitational competition which sees other clubs come and join us from various parts of the country, this opens up a whole new experience for gymnasts and allows them to compete against similar levels and age groups and is also a great fundraiser for the charity.

## **Structure, governance and management**

The structure of the organisation consists of:

The Members – who can attend members meetings and AGM and have the powers to appoint people to serve on the board and take decisions on changes to the constitution.

The Board – who hold regular meetings and generally control the activities and the financials of the organisation.

## **Constitution**

Our charity is governed by a constitution by which we run our organisation to at all times.

## **Trustee recruitment and appointment**

Our constitution states that each of the Charity Trustees must stand down and then be re-elected to the Trustee board. As there were no written responses to anyone resigning, all Trustees were re-elected and the motion was passed. We have a good combination of business, sport and accounts based minds in our Trustee board which contributes greatly to the charity.
