Objectives: The Association has been formed to benefit the community within the geographical area of the Dunning Community Council. 4.1 Through the activities of the Association, to provide for the advancement of citizenship and community development within the above defined area. This will be achieved by a) acquiring, renovating, maintaining and managing the Old School House buildings at Newton of Pitcairns, Dunning and b) creating a community hub in which all ages within the community can further enhance their educational, cultural and social development, with a particular emphasis on the younger generation. 4.2 To both provide and organise recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
