Trustees Annual Report for year ending 11 December 2025 Charity Name: heads Up Mid Aryll Charity Number: SC048779 Addross: c/0 MAYDS, Curront Trustees Constitution The Charity is a SCIO registered 23 October 2018. Trustees The constituion allows for a minimum of 3 8nd a maximum of 7 Trustees, following the deaths of two and resignation of two Trustees, there are currently six , with two apointed in August. Purposes The organisations puposes are: 1. To provide support and recovery for residents of Mid Argyll who have suffered or are sufferingfrom mental health issues. addictions or social isolation 2. To provide group activities and peer group support with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by encouraginf people to take up pursuits of strategies that will be benefiacial to their health and well being. 3. To advance eduaction by providing a variety of skill and craft courses 4. To advance underst8nding of these issues witt he wider community
Actlvitl8$ The past 12 months have been relatively quiet but steady. Thursday meetings in MAYDS have continued regularly everyweek and members can be confident that arrrangements are in place for these to tske place with refreshments or lunch availble. Any changes are well publicised through our private Facebook page or through personal phone calls and messages for those withut access to Facebook. FollowTng last years AGM mebers were able to take part in two workshops - a ceramics workshop led byjules Matherand a wreath makingworkshopp led by Members also enjoyed Christmas Lunch at the Kilmarting Hotel, courtesy of the Angling Club. In spite of sorne of our planned outings being disrupted through weather and transport conditions. we enjoyed trips to Auchlndrain when some members attended the opening. and later met up for lunch in the Tearoom. but the highlight of the year had to be the day trip to Inveraray Jail- we were lucky to all escape at the end of the dayalthough there were efforts to keep Karen locked up.......... We were delighted in August to welcome Trustees bringingthe number back p to five. on board as Flnanclal Review Attached are the accounts for the financial year 2024125. Since March we have been delighted to be awarded money from The Angling Club, who have again raised funds for our Christmas Lunch. We have also been awarded a grant via the TSI to cover thecost of a years rent, so we can be confident that we have funds to keep our meetings going for the next 16 months. We have additiona funding of E500 from the Community Shop. Thanks to those three funders. we are Confident in being able to run event8 and workshops for the next year. Future Plans We have been kepr very busy supporting current members but will be (ooking to reach out to a wider audience in the near future. The ways in which we plan to do this include updatingthe leaflet. contacting the mental health social worker and contacting the recently established counselLing service.
