To raise funds to commission and erect a fitting memorial in Wick to the memory of those who lost their lives at sea. b. To maintain the memorial and the surrounding area to provide a sense of quiet reflection and remembrance. c. To raise awareness of our seafaring heritage and to protect this for future generations. d. To carry out such other charitable purposes as the group shall from time to time decide.
