Individuals, groups and schoolchildren to better understand World War Two, the Dunkirk Evacuation, the D-Day Landings, and the key role that Admiral Ramsay played in leading both key operations. 2.	The people of Berwickshire and the Scottish Borders to feel proud of one of their local heroes, Admiral Ramsay. 3.	Local businesses will benefit from the museum attracting additional visitors to the area, supporting local businesses in Leitholm, Swinton and other neighbouring communities.  4.	Military organisations to be better appreciated by the civilian population.
