APPENDIX 1

Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements Established in September 2018, M:ADE is still an organisation in its of the charity during the financial infancy although this year we feel a transition in our scape and ambition. period Our core ethos was, and still is, to support local communities and artists across Moray through relevant, co-produced projects. With focus and activity driven by our partners and participants, we were initially unsure if and how the organisation might develop and how it would be received but now we are becoming integral to the regional cultural make up, not only delivering projects but increasing activity across research and capital redevelopment. Last year we: - Secured approx. £192k, £86k of which from five funders for youth, wellbeing, community, research and development work. This includes our first ever direct grant from Creative Scotland. - We increased our research, consultancy and contract income significantly to approx. £105k, including extension of our statutory tender contract, which was secured last year. - Were, and remain active, in a partnership project supported by Creative Scotland, through the Culture Collective Initiative - Re-secured funding from Historic Environment Scotland after successful delivery in 2022, 23 and 24. - Remain engaged in town centre redevelopments and secured research-based work relating to the Cultural Quarter and Moray Growth Deal — this has also led to new related work in a heritage context within Forres.
