'the saving of lives'

We are a member team of Scottish Mountain rescue and we train Search and Rescue Dogs to assist Mountain Rescue teams to search for people missing or in distress in the Scottish Wilderness. We are tasked by Police Scotland and often carry out searches for vulnerable missing people in rural environments.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community','Other charities or voluntary bodies'

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To relieve the distress and suffering of persons endangered by accidents or natural hazards or lost in the mountains and countryside of Scotland and in furtherance therefore but not otherwise. 4.2 To provide a service to help in the efficient search for and rescue of persons in danger or lost anywhere where a search is practicable. 4.3 To help educate the public, through talks and demonstrations, about the use and dangers of the outdoor environment.
