Beacon Gymnastics Club was granted SCIO status on 31 st August 2018. A Board of Trustees was established
and this Is supported by the Club Committee which is responsible for the key Club activities.
The strategic and operational management of the Club is carried by the Board of Trustees and management
committee respectively. The Club is supported by a team of c￿acheS and parents.

The organisations purpose are: The advancement of public participation in the sport of gymnasticx, in the North
East of Scotland and environs and in furtheran￿ of this by;
i) Making available to the public opportunities to participate in the sport at all levels
ii) Making available coaching and Supe￿iS1on at all levels
iii) Working in partnership with other bodies to achieve the purposes

The Chantable Objectives are.
To offer coathing and (￿MpetI￿Ve opportunitses in gymnastlcs
To promote the dub within the local community and gymnastscs
To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club
To provide all rts ServI￿S in a way that is fair to everyone
To ensure that all present and future members receive fair and equal treatment
Our
Beacon Gymnastics Club SCIO is based at the Beacon Centre In Aberdeen. The Club is affiliated to Scottish
Gymnastics and provides coaching in women's artistic gymnastics from age 5 upwards. Weekly recreational
and squad gymnastics are delivered by qualified coaches. Links with local Sport Aberdeen led Kindergym and
Gym Joey dasses ensure we support the pathway from pre-school gymnastics. Beacon Gymnastics Club
continues to promote gymnastics wrthin the local community ensuring a duty of care and indusion to all
members. Funds will be used to continue the operation of the Club, purchase new equipment in addition to
supporting the development of the coaches. All coaches are members of Scoth"sh Gymnastscs, have attended
Safeguarding training and are PVG checked in accordan￿ with the Scottish Gymnastics policy.

The dub have retumed to competitions
Attended a number of 2 piece, 4 ple￿ and teamgym competitions. Huge success in Teamgym with 4
teams qualifying for the Mexxo Cup in Crewe, wrth our Level 5 team winning their section. Our
Primary Level 5 team and Junior level 4 team won the Scottish Teamgym Championships in May. The
dub attended a 2 day Gymfest event, and we had a very successful dub Championships.
Coach Development - Our coaches have continued to develop and attend courses offered by Scottish
Gymnastics. One of our coaches has successfully completed her teamgym judging course,
ReseNes held at the period end are £7.334.83
Our main source of funding Is fees charged to parents for the coaching seNices.
We have continued to fundraise this year, and purchased a teamgym tumble track. Our focus over the coming
year is still to continue purchasing equipment for the club.
The Trustees aim to keep reserves of around 3 months running costs in order to meet commitments and to
cover any unexpected expenditure.
The accounts for the year are attached and form part of this ￿pOrt.
