group U8 through to U18, plus men and women from 18 upwards to
participate in basketball co8ching sessions suitable for Iheir age group.
Sossions run 7 days a week across 6 different venues.

Thè 2024 Awards nlght format changed.. instead of a full evening event
wrth food, drink. raffle. entertainment the awards, a cut-back format
with squads attending the assembly hall at a r￿ed time. It wa8 a good, bul
it is hoped that volunteèrs will step lorward to njn ftjture annual awards
nights in a fomwl closer lo how they had prèviously b6en. Congratulations
to all players and volunle8rs were presented with a 2024 award.
11 was another sm year on court. In the SLBA Cups. the club was
represented in 2 of the 6 finals. The U16men retained the cup tsy won in
2023, while the U18men fell short In Iheii defencè of their cup, flnlshing
runner&up. In the SLBA leagues it was an Impressive 10 AYT Storni
squads (x)mpeling (teams". 3 Senior Men. 1 SenN)r Women, 1 U18men, 3
U16men, 2 U14boy81 across thg 81oagues. U16men Bott won the Cadet
Men league- maknng il a league and cup double for th8 U16men In 202>
24 SL8A season, r8peating their feat of the 2022-23 season.
On the n8tional stage. the dub conlinue to be wmpetitive in the Scottish
Basketball Champion5hp5.' The gids won Ihe U16118w div2 unbeaten wth
a 12-0 record. In re8￿￿ctive divls. U18mèn were mid table while both
U16men and U14men were in th81)ottom groups as were SM in Dfv2. The
U18M reached thei¥ Sc4)ttish Cup final and were runners up.
The Jr NBA program was run again for our younger age groups. As well
as this, the CDO developed youth leaijers and ran dropn female
basketball se$S￿n$. A successful Rising Slomi program ran on Fr￿aY
nighls at the Citadel. Membership numbers again grew to record numb8rs.
Available coaches capped growth. so a long waiting list rernained in place.
Financial review

commitments as well as hall hir8S to run activities. We were In a heatthy
position with a bank balance that woukj allow full funding of the CDO post
and fa￿lIty hires even if there was an unexpeGted drop in income.

would cover tho increased costs a680cialgd with more h811 hire$ and mor•
competition entries wthout Impacting the dub funds.

CDO post
The final inslalment of th8 grant from Sportscolland for a Club Development Officer post was receNed in 2022-23
financial y¢ar and ran to FgbNary 2024. Wilh the endin9 of this grant. the Trustees having reviewed the club's financial
status and the contribution Ihg CDO role mak8$. made the unanimous derysion to continue with the post Ihal now ha8
lo bg 1000A fund8d Ihrou9h thg club. We are pleased Ihat Laura wished to remain in the post and continue th& great
wort she has started. The focus will thange. and th8 chair of the Trustees will contiwe to work wth the CDO on
objectNes and meawring what is being achleved through the post.

instead of club doing bulk registrations, went. This the workload for our stretched volunteer as well 8S
eliminating an outgoing from the club inec*ne, eff8Ctively increasing our available cash wtthoul increasing fees.
