The Garden will provide a location for small, free community events such as choral, drama and concerts. It will also provide a resource for local special needs groups, and for the elderly and young. Promotion of peace education activities for children and young people will be actively encouraged.  To advance the arts, heritage and culture by incorporating a number of physical and planting features to mark the garden as a key location in the historic centre of the town and in particular to carry on the heritage work of the old Annet House Trust with its historic? Rig? garden.
