**What the charity does:** Colony Park Football Club was established in 1978 to provide children and young people in the area access to football and the club has grown from strength to strength over the years.   The founding philosophy of the club was to ensure access to football for all children and young people regardless of ability and the trustees remain committed to that ethos. The number of players continues to increase, and we are particularly pleased with the number of girls who now play football at the club.  Total players at the end of the financial year was 554 across boys and girls, competitive and non-competitive .  The club is run solely by volunteers and relies heavily on local donations from businesses and grants to allow us to keep fees as low as possible for parents.

**Objectives:** The purpose of the Club shall be for the advancement of public participation in the sport of football by:  Welcoming new participants and encouraging participation in all activities of the Club.  Assisting participants to improve their sporting skills and in their personal development.  Providing participants with suitable competition at the appropriate age level and standard. and  Promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle to all participants.
