Organisation
The general management and control of the association is the Hall's Managemeni Committee
c[￿5]sting of members elected annually ai the Annual General Meeting or by co-option during the
year. All members of the Comrnittee shall rerire al the AC,M but shall be eligible for re-election.
Objectives and Activities
The aim5 of ihe Con]tniiiee shall be lo promote and encourage the preservation, development and
improvernem of all the subjects described in ihe Deed of Trusi" to raise fund5 Eoi the impTovemeTrt
and enhancement of Allanlon Village Hall, Recreauon Groun(I Play Park and other subjects. io
stimulaie public interest in the use and care of the subjecl, and to carry out acts"viu"es and services
that will benefit the comTnuniry.

Achievements and Performances
The 202314 year has been a greai year for Ihe hall where more of the covntnunity enjoyed the
seTvices offered by the committee, but they also got involved to help support the hall's upkeep and
make it a beiier place co enjoy by all. This has hugel! supported our main aim ol providing a safe.
warm placp with gnnd faciliries and regular organised sncial aciivities Irtr enable penple tn gather
and benefii as a comtnunity.
The committee ran 10 coffee mornings and an afternoon tea, 2 fun quiz nights and a communiry
Chrisimas lunch. They also organised a village volunteer day with lots of people in aiiendance to
help litter-pick. hall gardening and woodland clearing. with picnic food seTred in the hall as a
reward for the cornmunity's hard-work. Everyone felt the benefit and spirits were high afteThvard5.
Some regular activities continue such as Scottish Country Dancing. a weekly table tennis social
dance Llasses aiid some new ari classes liave been popular 100. Local niums have also beeii
OT%anising a regular Lego club for kids held at the hall. whith is Rreat for our youn% community.
The commitiee undertook a project, which was grani funded to upgrade and modernise the decor in
the hall_ The main hall had 3 fresh look- with Fnaking good the tired_looking wall spaces and notice
boai'ds, and painting of the rnain hall giving a moTe modem and fresh look wliich the NillageTS have
appreciated. They commirtee continue to look at ways 10 renovaie and improve the hall facilities
nd kitchenware.
Through promoting the hall's events, whether organised by the commillee or helping promote hall
hirers events. it ks bringing in rnore people fEOrn the wider cornmunity lo use the hall on a rnore
regulaT basis.
Financial Review
The balance of Ihe accouni ai 30.09.2024 arnounis 10 £4,920, diis means Ihere is a healihy reserve
which will continue to be applied 10 the charitable purposes ouilined in the principal activities.
Plans for futhre periods
The Commit(ee will continue to run Ihe Village Hall for the benefit of residents and the local
comrnunity. cotnpleting outsianding projects as soon a5 practicable.

The charity's Irustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with (he
terms of che Charities and Trustees Invesunent (Scodand) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts
(Scodand) Regulations 2(K)6. The charity t￿￿tee5 consider thal the audit requirernent of Regulation
10(l )(dl of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibilÈty to examine the accounts
as required under section 44(1)(c) of the Act and to stale whether particular tnatters have come to
my aiiention.

(Scodand) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by

In the course of my eXa￿inall0n. no matter has come to rny at(ention which gives tne reasonable
cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements-
To keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44(1) of the 2005 Act and regulation
4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. and
To prepare accounts which accord with Ihe accounting records and comply with Regulation
9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met.
