	Trustees are appointed by invitation following consideration by the existing trustees, with appointments based on skills, experience, commitment to the charity’s purposes and alignment with the church’s values. Trustees receive no remuneration for their role, except where separately contracted for operational employment. The only exception to this is in the case of Hannah Brook who is both a trustee and two days a week salaried member of staff as senior pastor and is accordance with our constitution.
Objectives and activities

	To advance the Christian religion for the public benefit in accordance with the Statement of Faith in the Schedule here to attached in such parts of the United Kingdom and the world Part of our main objectives in advancing the Christian religion for public community is to promote healthy community and connection within our church as well as to serve and love our local community.
	From September 2024 to August 2025 we have ran several community building events focussed on different groups within our church as well as events for our local community. These include family socials, ladies socials, men’s socials, youth socials and young adult socials. The purpose of these events is to welcome and build friendship and connections. We have started a weekly youth club for teenagers to form and build community and friendship. We have supported local charities in their giving campaigns. Eg Give a gift appeal We ran an Easter funday with over 200 people from outside our church attending. We continue with our regular weekly small groups which is a consistent place for people to attend and build community as well as grow in their Christian faith.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period	We have given away over £2700 to the work of local charities helping people specifically struggling with poverty in our local community. We hosted a community Ceilidh with over 150 people in attendance. We ran a parenting course for parents of primary age children. We gave a significant number of Christmas gifts to support the Stirling Observer Give a gift appeal supporting families connected with woman’s aid, Stirling young carers and Home start Stirling. We have taken on the lease of an office and community space to further build on our work of creating community and connections. We launched a new ministry called ‘Love Stirling’ with the main objective of serving and loving our local community in practical ways. We launched a ‘Blether group’ which has been really well attended by our local care home. We are creating spaces for people to connect and find friendship as well as explore the Christian faith.
