Meetings have taken place throughout the year and are always very well attended by Trustees and Members. The Trust is grateful for the continued input of these volunteers and their hard work. It is much appreciated by the community.

Meetings were held on the following dates - 11th September 2024 (AGM), 11th December 2024, 12th March 2025, 11th June 2025.

The meeting on 11th December was a Special Member Meeting, and allowed us to adopt a new constitution. The reason for this was that we were asked by legal services in Dumfries and Galloway Council to get our members numbers up to 20, which they said would then allow us to then apply to take over the ownership of a small strip of land at the side of Springfield prima EEschool through theorc welcomedcommunity rightinto theto Trust.buy scheme. Accordingly, new —_

Qe" > seek funding to re-plaster, re-insulate and decorate the hall - which will

ing R

The playing fields have been well used over the last year, with the outdoor gym, children’s play equipment and track all regularly used and the SGGCAT continue to maintain it. As in previous years we have cut the grass, hedges and removed a few overhanging branches where necessary.

On 10th May 2025, another very successful colour run took place - run by Springfield Primary School PTA, which raised money for the school and we were delighted to give permission to allow it take place on the Playing Field. Our application to gain ownership of the strip of land at the side of Springfield Primary School continues to be a bit of a saga.

problems with getting it sorted out. We are currently seeking advice from a Community Ownership Advisor for Dumfries and Galloway, and we will await any recommendations he has, so that we push this forward.

The changing rooms continue to be used when required. Going forward, we recognise that they need some TLC and hot showers are essential if we wish to attract a permanent football team, as Eaglesfield Thistle FC will stop using the field this summer.
