Maintenance of the green
Cutting the green- Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Edging-once weekly
Scarifying, fertilizing, verti-cutting- four weekly
Club clean-up d8ys- weeding, cleaning of ClubhouselPort8100- monthly
Club events:
League competitions-once weekly
Friendly competitions- 5 events held throughout the Season
Internal tie competitions- all members compete against each other throughout the Season
Bowls Scotland and West Fife Bowling Association- the club is used to allow these
cornpetitions to be held at our green.
Coaching sessions-one per Season where other clubs attend certified coachingsessionsvia
Bowls Scotland.
Coaching sessions with local primary school pupils- Certified club members and lan Symon(
(Bowls Scotlandl attended three local primary schools. giving a taster°Try Bowls- session to
encourage Ihe children and give them the incentive to join the club as new members.
Fundralslng:
' Family Fun Day"_ This had to be cancelled due to weathe¥ conditions. However the club did
attend three Local primary schools and invited the pupils to a Tri Bowls event wheie they
experienced a taster of how the game is played.
Raffles at friendly invitation evenis to oiher clubs to join us in a game of bowling witti tealcoffe
sandwiches and cake included.
Presentation evening- All members are invited to join the club and receive their trophies won i
their internal tie competitions. Buffet and raffle for fundraising.
Unfortunately. this Season the club were unable to fundraise due to being involved in a new
building being erected and a sprinkler system installed. £32,600 was gained grant tunding
applications. The works are still ongoing.
The club continue to encourage ihe public tojoin as new members. Thisseasonwe are lookin
to have four new membersjoiningthe club.

Grant Fundlng:
£10,000 gained from Fife Environmental Trust Fund
£20,000 gained from Foundation Scotland
E2.600 gained from Fife Council
£150 gained from Co.oper8tive Society for the supply of paint to upgrade the sheds.
