The Trust was created for charitable purposes to relieve sickness .,disease and human suffering. Assistance to enable sick and handicapped to make pilgrimages to the Shrine at Lourdes. The pilgrims are recommended to the Trustees by the officers of the Lourdes Hospitality Diocesan Offices and any other Roman Catholic Diocese within Scotland. The focus of the Trust is identifying suitable beneficiaries who would benefit from a grant.

Objectives: SECOND The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and income thereof for the following purposes: (1) to advance religion and in particular the Roman Catholic religion. and ·· - (2) to relieve sickness, disease, distress and human suffering. by the provision of any necessary financial assistance to enable sick, handicapped, disabled or otherwise infirm persons to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine at Lourdes
