## FRIENDS OF CLARK'S LITTLE  ARK 

## TRUSTEE'S REPORT 2023/2024 

The trustees and other committee members and members have continued to work well as a group during this financial period, holding regular meetings and informal meetings. 

There was no large planned projects so therefore no significant grant applications so our income consisted of smaller grants, fundraising activities and donations. We are lucky to have a few generous regular donors and along with visitor donations this all contributes to the rising costs associated with The Ark and allows proper care of the animals and importantly allows us to remain a free to access facility for all visitors. This is an important part of our ethos especially in a time when family finances are squeezed. 

We work closely with local school groups and adult learning groups both  in our area and further away and also provide placements for community payback both individuals and teams. 

We, as a group continue to ensure the finances are sufficient for any needs associated with Clark's Little Ark. Our A.G.M is planned for 18[th] April
