## **Achievements and performance** 

|**Summary of the main achievements of**<br>**the charity during the financial period**|During the financial period, Kings Church West Lothian continued to grow|

||<br>in serving both the congregation and the wider community. With a<br>diverse group of around 85 attendees spanning various age groups, the<br>church continued to host a range of activities, including Sunday<br>gatherings, midweek home groups, kids work, youth work, and leadership<br>development. Sunday gatherings remained central, offering worship,<br>biblical teaching, and fellowship over coffee. We also invested significant<br>time in this period helping our members grow in dependence on God, and<br>listening to the Holy Spirit, which is essential for our continued wellbeing.<br>The church also continued to run special events, such as an Easter event<br>which engaged the local community and shared the Easter story.<br>Initiatives such as The Feast, a winter program offering a warm space and<br>free meals, attracted many people weekly. Messy Church was less active<br>than previously, as were our Bingo Nights for charity. We continued to<br>partner with organisations like The BUSY Project to support those in need<br>across the region. We have also invested time in beginning to explore a<br>new community trust  (SCIO) where the church and community seek an<br>asset transfer for Uphall Community Centre, to further our mission to reach<br>and serve those who do not yet know Jesus.<br>Our weekend away, where the majority of our members enjoyed fellowship<br>and teaching, was a signfiicant time in building community, growing in faith<br>and serving one-another.  This has been a fruitful year of growing in the<br>love of God, serving the community, and moving forward together in faith<br>and continuing our charitable purposes.|
