Summary of the main The main achievement of MAPS in this financial year was to finalise
activities in relation to the reporting and evaluation for the Erasmus Cast4Innovation
these objects Project in which MAPS played a key role in developing the training
module and learning content, developing and delivering the training
course.
In line with our goals a key part of this was the ‘Creative Culture’
module showing how the arts and in particular music could help to
counter racist ideologies and bring different cultures and peoples
closer together.
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main As explained above the main achievement was to wrap up the
achievements of the char- successful Erasmus Cast4 Innovation Project. The final reporting was
ity during the financial pe- done in May and June 2021.
riod
With no further funding coming into MAPS the organisation has
largely been inactive and is assessing its future. We have reached
out to council departments and other charities and experienced
charity professionals but have had not success.
Our trustees and executive director are all busy people and have
exhausted every possible avenue.
Financial review
Financial Situation Initially the organisation has been formed to facilitate objectives of
the MAPS project using EU funds.
Some funding was received in advance to enable payment of the ex-
penses to be incurred as set out in detailed budgets. However much
of it was delayed for various reasons. At the end of the year £1388
was still due and was received in April and June 2022.
As Fees due were condition that such funding was received these
have now also been paid in full by the end of June.
