'the advancement of education'
To encourage adults who left school with no or few qualifications to return to education and progress to higher education. We achieve this by working in partnership with colleges and universities in the West of Scotland. By providing a broad range of access programmes with college partners developed for adult returning students. University partners provide degree progression routes for these programmes. Encourage students to return to education by sharing the success of our students. We work to promote social justice by highlighting the impact of adults retuning to higher education.
Beneficiaries: 'Older People','People with disabilities or health problems','People with a particular ethnic or racial origin','Other defined groups'
Objectives: The organisation's purposes are to promote the advancement of adults into education, with a focus on adults from widening access backgrounds, by means of access programmes specifically tailored to enable them to progress onto higher education.
