**Purposes:** 'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

**What the charity does:** To promote the well being of the Community resident in Spean Bridge and district. There will be no distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinion. The well being will be promoted by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to further health, advance education, provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training, recreation, social, moral and intellectual development. To foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable. To secure the establishment of a Community Centre and to cooperate with the local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of the Centre for activities in furtherance of the above objects. The Association shall be non party in politics and non-sectarian In religion.

**Objectives:** 5 The organisation's main purpose is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
