The Pitmedd8n Am￿rUeS Trust, SCIO was reslstered with OSCR in FebNary of 2018 by
Paul Johnston, a local Aberdeenshire Councilknr and a Pltmedden Hall Trust and
Pitinedden Park Tws( Acting Chair and Trustse.
The alm of the PItrn￿den AM￿￿10$ Tnjst. SCIO was lo tak8 over the management
of the Pitmedden (tynmunlty Publc H811 and Park from the two previous Trusts vlth a new
Scottlsh Charftabl8 IncorpcTrted (Xwisation. The Gwrent Hall and Park Trust are In the
process of being dissolved. In the meantims the new PAT. SCIO is supwting the exlsting
Trusts in the day lo day runniTrJ of the am8nities in the wllage untll we can off5ciaUy take
over.

amenty opgn spac8. parks. halls aKI me8tTng places, for Ihe organisation of
recfeational arlivities. *ith the ot4&I (* improviKJ the Conditions of lrfe fff the
persons of Prfmedden and Udny and those In need of to such fa(alliias on
vlsltkng Pitmedden.
Thls trustees fomally meet slx times a year to review hal activitles. The trustees
maintain tho hall and pwk activety rnana￿ bookings, rentsl income and the general
upkeep of the hall.
The people of Pitmedd8n and U¢kny WKI ttM)5e in need of access to suth fai?litl8S
on ￿SItIng Pitmedden.
The ￿trneddan Public Hall rnntinu8s to be rnanagod by the exisling Trust and the PAT,
SCIO tea￿ ActNity levels in the Hall are hlgh with users suth as dan¢e dasses. Martial
Arts, Football teams, desses, Gutdes aTrJ the thldren fr(*n the 'Pitmedden Tiny
Tots. groups.
The Hall is hired for various fund.rais#7g e¥￿ts. These are fre￿n￿Y held to supp(Yt k)¢21
groups.
The Park Is also used by the local (xynnmmty with ad hoc football games by the lo(xl
thildren and more fcKmally for Frnrtine United Ywth Academy for and games.

The Pitmedden Arnenltles Trust. SCIO had various meetings in person beknv8en 2024
and M8rch 2025 to athely r8ffl1iV appointment new charity trustees ￿ ¢rilical officer
poslJons. The officers then d8ve10￿ roles and res￿SibIli￿S within the charity trusteès
to support the ￿anIsa￿on and the adivitstt wied (yjt in the hall and park.
The charity trustees, and date appoint￿1 are listed on page three of this report.
The new Pitrnedden Amenities TNSL SCIO now has a dlverse board making th8 charlty
more effective in meeting our aims. The Fltmedden Amenilies Tnjsl. SCIO has charity
trustees that are also linked to the PIlme(kj￿ Primary School, (FOPS: Friends of
Pitrnedd8n School) and FUY& (Formartine United Youlh Academy) the main users of th8
park.
We have during this period ¢￿tinUed to seBk someMe to be the treasurer, but
unfortunatety our seawth has, again been unsuccessful. We will ￿ntInu@ to I￿k to the
community lo fill this rde over the next year, as well as a park cx)nven8r to replace D8vid
Ha4Jwin, and a Hail MainténarKe Manager to re￿a￿ ljrew L8il.

Pitmedden Hall Updats-
PAT SCIO has had a sur£es￿l yow ￿1th (kne to capaLYty through th8 *Eek and

nexi big ttem to look at will be the oven in the kitd)en and the cooklng group have said it
unr91iable. All thé standard safety ￿￿kS have been carried OUL emergency escape roule
and Ilghts'ng, fire exiir¥Juishers elc.
Hall set up for Swap Shop

Flnanclal revlew
The accounts have been prepared and show a balance in the accounts of £23,670, which
Is a very healthy balan￿. In the hal costs about £14.5fy) pa to Tun.
There have been discussions regardwig an increase to the hire rates of the hals to cover
the potential increase in Ihe cost of 8￿ctri0 and tt)is VAI be mcrf)itored d￿r￿j the next
year and any increas8 communicated to the regulat users.
Statement of the charity's policy on reseTves
PAT, SCIO policy for tholdr￿ reserves for Hall and Parf< is to retain a years. worth of
o)sts in reser4e, currently the main bank ba￿nce is around £13.000 so we are
comfortable, and we have an accounl to speafically hokl the resérrfe of £10.000 separate
from day-to-day account whith we cuThently have.
