To enhance and promote local culture and history of Callander and the surrounding areas.

Objectives: The advancement of heritage and culture by (a) collecting written material, photographs and oral information of local historic interest and (b) advising and assisting in the preservation of objects and buildings of local historic interest, and maintaining a record of the whereabouts of such objects and buildings. The advancement of education by (a) organising lectures, discussions and exhibitions (on a temporary or permanent basis), (b) arranging visits to places of historic interest, (c) publishing information on the foregoing, (d) encouraging and supporting young people in the local schools to take an active interest in their local heritage and (e) encouraging local residents to learn more about the history of the area in which they live.
