## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

## _**Constitution**_ 

The Charity is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. It was registered in its current Legal form on 22[nd] January 2018. 

It has a two-tiered structure consisting of its Membership; which includes elected committee members and a Board of Trustees. 

## _**Appointment of Trustees**_ 

Trustees are appointed in accordance with The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) guidelines. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

## _**Charitable purposes**_ 

The Clubs purpose is to encourage public participation in the sport and practice of gymnastics and in so doing improve the standard of gymnastics and the health of people in the Lanarkshire area and outlying areas.  In the furtherance of the above purpose the club will: Liaise and co-operate with Scottish Gymnastics and its sub-districts in the matters of mutual interest concerning gymnastics. Make progressive improvement of the standard of gymnastics in Lanarkshire and outlying areas. 

## _**Activities**_ 

In the period under review the club has increased its membership by 20%.  Our coaching staff has increased with the addition of 2 new coaches and have 4 of our gymnasts volunteering and hopefully sending on the next available course. 

We have attend a few events in the last year a Lunar competition, Gymfest and Gymtastic with a further 2 events before the year ends. 

Fundraising has continued with the Help of with funds raised being used to send our gymnasts on coaching courses, purchase equipment, and to subsidies the events we attended. We also purchased some competition attire. 

## _**Achievements and Performance**_ 

Lunar competition October 23   November 23 and Gymtastic March 24. 

## **Future Plans** 

. 

The Club still has a plan in place to increase membership numbers which could be higher.  We will be in a better position to increase classes and numbers once our coaching numbers increase.  We are going to continue with fundraising and hope to  ensure that we can keep our costs to members down during the continued financial crisis. 

Our plans for our own premises is still on hold due to numbers however the premises we are in are exceptionally good and still at an affordable price even with the last increase so there is no rush.
