Possilpark People’s Trust is a community-led development trust formed in 2017 to foster the regeneration of Possilpark. A Community Regeneration Plan was developed after consulting with the community and relevant public, voluntary, and private sector partners. The plan identified key priorities to address social, economic, and environmental needs, such as tackling chronic poverty, increasing life chances, and providing better opportunities for all residents. The top priority for Possilpark People’s Trust is refurbishing the existing Community Facility. This will serve as a base for groups and organizations, offering an enhanced range of services and activities to improve life chances and support the area’s regeneration. This newly refurbished Community Centre will benefit residents emotionally, mentally, and physically.
