The Bernat Klein Foundation was established in 2017 to manage, and develop the legacy of Bernat Klein, Textile Designer, Colourist and Artist. Its activities are focused on research, education and publication., which the Foundation achieves through its creative and cultural programme of workshops, exhibitions, talks and symposia. All our activities are open and largely free to specialist audiences, students and the general public. Our projects are supported by grants awarded by private and public bodies, with our Trustees also contributing their professional expertise as well as unpaid hours in support of the management and development of the Bernat Klein Foundation.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: The SCIO will promote, advance and further its charitable purposes with the artistic, cultural and creative legacy of Bernat Klein as a catalyst for the provision of collaborative projects, research and publication and curating exhibitions to increase public engagement and understanding of not only Bernat Klein's work, but also to foster and inspire future generations' creativity across Scotland, including with new work and items and further afield.
