S.H.I.P. is committed to enhancing the lives of children with additional support needs, physical and sensory disabilities, and their caregivers. Our mission is to improve quality of life through health, education, and wellbeing initiatives, primarily delivered via engaging play and leisure activities. We also promote social integration and provide vital support to families and caregivers. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff ensure that each child’s individual needs are met in a secure and structured environment. We achieve this by: - Providing inclusive experiences and opportunities for children (5 - 18 years) and their families. - Enhancing learning and development. - Offering respite to parents and caregivers. - Engaging local volunteers to support children with additional needs. - Enhancing opportunities for families to work/study/re-train.

Objectives: 4. The organisations purpose(s) are: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities and activities are primarily intended and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the following activities: 4.1.1 The provision of youth clubs for children and young people with Additional Support Needs. 4.1.2 The provision of respite care during school holidays for children and young people with Additional Support Needs as well as their families and carers.
