The organisation's purposes are: Raise funds to contribute towards scientific research into preventing SUDEP. Initially by raising funds for the Muir Maxwell Centre in Edinburgh. To raise awareness of SUDEP and Epilepsy in Scotland by providing information through our website, social media and fundraising events. Since the introduction of the charity in 2017, the charity has created a number of social media pages, charity website and carried out a number of fundraising events – such as a Halloween Party and Pub Quiz. Charity supporters and trustees have also carried out a number of challenges to fundraise using Just Giving – this has included cycling, running and walking events.
