Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of Evening events covered a wide range of subjects and Doors the charity during the financial period Open Days guided walks were held in September and were well supported. The Cathcart Parish Place Names project was launched and good progress is being made. Various publications producted by LCH about the Battle of Langside and the local community during two world wars, continue to be very popular. LCH works with the University of Glasgow to offer a career development opportunity to students and have added three student committee members who brought their skills and perspectives.

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy The trustees' policy is to hold reserves of approximately on reserves £1,000 to cover running costs for 2 years. I report on the accounts of the charity for the period from l April 2024 to 31 March 2025 which are set out on the attached pages. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts 15cotland} Regulation5 20)6135 amended).
